The Invisible écho project brings together two short pieces – the solo Le Vrai lieu and the trio Dans le creux de l’absence – in a single evening. This project is the artistic object presented by choreographer Eva Assayas as part of the defense of her thesis-creation: the aim is to show and feel the poetic and aesthetic issues that have animated her research, to transmit an individual experience and create a unison of states.
The Invisible écho project stages the gesture of transmission leading from the solo Le Vrai lieu to the trio Dans le creux de l’absence. It exposes the space of transformation/extension of a body state experienced individually towards the creation of a unison of states. By unfolding the interiority of a solo dance experience, Invisible écho aims to materialise its resonance in the bodies of three new performers. Neither solo, nor trio, this project proposes to situate the work in the vibrant space of this resonance.
