Promesse began with an invitation: writer Anne Rehbinder and director Antoine Colnot suggested to choreographer Tânia Carvalho that they combine their artistic worlds and create a multifaceted piece somewhere between theatre and dance. This metafiction invites on stage an artistic team of seven individuals to create a show about perceptions of gender. Ambiguities, funny stories and confessions emerge and invite us to take new paths of reflection.
