On tour in Secondary and High schools from Hauts-de-France
Coproduced by Le Gymnase CDCN
Intended for secondary school students, Histoires(s) Décoloniale(s) questions how our history is taught by way of two intimate and remarkable portraits of Folly Azaman and Dalila Khatir. Betty Tchomanga has created a work based on stories from the colonial past linking the West and Africa. Through dance, music and song, the two artists, performing in a classroom, tell the stories that make up history – inspired by their country of origin – but that don’t get a mention in the curriculum.
