In G R OO V E, her first solo, Soa Ratsifandrihana combines images and intimate folk dances. Among them, the ’Afindrafindrao’, a dance from her homeland of Madagascar, the Madison, which was the first choreography she learned, and Popping, a nod to Pepito whose stylised quarter turns she admires…
This performance is surrounded by the audience who are invited to feel the sensitive pleasure the act of dancing brings.
