Forever Party

Bringing the festival to a close, Sylvain Huc, Angelica Ardiot and mona mioca offer the public a time for partying, friendship and participation where bodies can be infected with sound, energy and movement. While everyone can dance how they like, here and there the audience is guided and supported so that together they can experience the euphoria and imagination of dancing bodies! Bring as many people as you like; there’s no age limit!

Sylvain Huc’s association with Le Gymnase CDCN draws to a close
“I will soon be coming to the end of my four years in Roubaix as associate artist at Le Gymnase. I’m speechless. I could use many different words to describe what – despite a knee operation, a pandemic, numerous lockdowns and reopenings, and a change of management – has never wavered during my time here. In a word, it’s confidence. Unique and unshakeable, a healing panacea for all the setbacks that went far beyond anything our imagination could have come with when it came to complicating our lives. The confidence people had in me never wavered. The confidence of the audience, eager and curious despite the virus. And the confidence of the (exceptional) team who without reservation opened their doors, their dressing rooms, their technical area, their kitchen and their hearts to me and fully embraced me. This where my projects found a warm welcome and a place to showcase them. I will be eternally grateful.“
