Soa Ratsifandrihana is an artist in residency at the Kaaitheater for the 2023-2025 periode and associated artiste of the CCN d’Orléans 2024-2026.
Soa Ratsifandrihana is originally from Madagascar. She grew up in France and now lives in Belgium. She has never been taught the history of Creolisation. On stage, she is joined by other members of the diaspora: Audrey Merilus, Stanley Ollivier and Joël Rabesolo. Their mixed-race, buried stories resurface through the memory of their bodies. Through a choral narrative, Fampitaha, fampita, fampitàna [comparison, transmission, rivalry in Malagasy] explores new paths that link them to their places of origin.
