Six women on stage form a single identity, engaged in a collective gesture of resisting by means of verticality when confronted with constraints and “folds”. Staying upright to conquer servitude. Drawing inspiration from the Ayta, a musical genre from Morocco with cathartic powers, Youness Aboulakoul reveals his introspective choreography about bodies and violence.
