On stage, six men and six women from different geographical and cultural backgrounds embody a sample of society that is placed under a microscope. They are us, a moving micropopulation that wants to get to know each other and build “common ground”. To remixed music by Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert, Ambra Senatore forms and breaks up the group in a repetitive dance movement that undulates like a powerful wave. And before our very eyes, the meaning of the collective takes shape: In Comune.
